About SAL
The SMITE Amateur League, or SAL for short, is a gathering spot for Freelancers, Casters, Production, and other talent required to run a league, while also being a one stop shop to direct players who are interested in joining a competitive space your way.

The 2 Primary Tenants of SAL
1) No Racism, Homophobia or Bigotry of any kind will be tolerated. We interact with people of all walks and creeds around the globe.
2) No Porn. Our player base has young children under the age of 16 directed your way, and we promote a family friendly atmosphere.

SAL is a collective of leagues with one simple statement. We want to provide a good atmosphere for competitive players.
While we do have these two main tenants, please be advised we are not a moderation oversight to your leagues so long as you follow these 2 rules. You'll never be told how to run your league or moderation squad so long as you follow these 2 rules.

Joining SAL as an Independent Player or Team
The SAL organization itself is a collection of staff members from multiple leagues. You can easily join any league by navigating to the leagues Discord, and signing up yourself and your team. You can refine what league may be of most interest by filtering out by your skill level, and desired type of play (I.E Tournament focused vs League focused)

Joining SAL as a Caster or Production.
No experience needed, you just need a microphone for casting, and a decent computer for Production. Most all of our leagues offer a gem payout to these individuals. We are happy to take you under our wing and show you the ropes and are always excited to welcome new faces. Please reach out to either KingScuba or League Staff to discuss further.

Joining SAL as a League / Tournament Organizer
To get your Organization posted on this website and join our collective, there's two requirements.
​
1) Follow the 2 Primary Tenants as an organization.
2) Either host 4+ Games a week for at least a month, or successfully launch your second season.

The Benefits of Joining SAL

For the players, this is obvious. We have multiple active leagues listed and sorted so you can easily match yourself into whatever type of environment you and your friends are interested in.

For the Leagues, we offer a private community of leaders who are willing to collaborate and help you succeed. We also are able to help you navigate the various challenges of running a league - such as staffing needs, various hand books/guides, and get you in contact with Hi-Rez/Titan Forge a bit easier to start getting player prizing/staff stipends.
